Applied Research Design
Applied research designs build upon the foundational principles of qualitative, quantitative, and mixed-method approaches to address a specific, practical research objectives. Applied research is goal-oriented and seeks to provide actionable solutions for specific contexts. By leveraging diverse approaches, applied research bridges the gap between theory and practice, producing evidence that informs decision-making, policy development, and improvements in professional practice.
Community Focused Research
Decolonizing Research Methodologies
Decolonizing research is a process of conducting research with Indigenous communities that places Indigenous voices and epistemologies in the center of the research process. There is no fixed path for decolonizing research methodologies, publications in the section provide a broad framework for decolonizing methodologies and research paradigms
